Four Lamorinda students from The Karate & Fitness Place USA in Lafayette participated on September 17, 2017 in the Fiestas 44th Annual Invitational International Karate Championships held in LA, CA. The students competed in Kata (forms) and Kumite (sparring) and returned with seven trophies (one first place, three second place and three third place trophies) Participants included competitors from Mexico, Honduras, Peru, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Japan.
