Four karate students from The Karate & Fitness Place USA in Lafayette were recognized by the state of California for their participation and placing at The Fiestas 44th Annual Invitational International Karate Championship held in Los Angeles on Sept. 17. The certificates were signed by Assemblywoman Catharine Baker.
